The Women’s Agenda, coming January 2019, is a federal policy platform that will inform the priorities of our movement for the next two years.
This agenda is being created by the women leaders who crafted the Unity Principles for the 2017 Women’s March, along with dozens of organizations and individuals with policy expertise who represent women and femmes in marginalized and impacted communities. This table of policy experts and advocates will be divided into ten committees based on the Unity Principles to produce an intersectional set of policies that will serve as a roadmap for 2019 and beyond: The Women’s Agenda.
1-2 urgent policy priorities will be identified by each of the following committees:
- Ending Violence Against Women & Femmes
- Ending State Violence
- Reproductive Rights & Justice
- Racial Justice
- LGBTQIA+ Rights
- Immigrant Rights
- Economic Justice & Worker’s Rights
- Civil Rights & Liberties
- Disability Rights
- Environmental Justice.
